Arabird ("we", "us") provides an Arabic learning app. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

1. Information we collect

Your account details (name, email), subscription and payment data (processed by Stripe; we never store your card number), your learning activity (progress, XP, streaks), and technical data such as device type and pages visited.

2. How we use it

To run the app, process your subscription, personalise your learning, improve the service, and contact you about your account.

3. Legal basis (UK GDPR)

Performing our contract with you, our legitimate interest in improving the service, and your consent for analytics or marketing.

4. Sharing

With Stripe for payments, with our hosting and infrastructure providers, and with analytics tools we use to run the app. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Cookies

Cookies necessary for the app to work, and analytics cookies only with your consent.

6. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active and as needed to meet legal duties.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, delete, or port your data, object to processing, and complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.

8. International transfers

Where data is processed outside the UK, we use appropriate safeguards.

9. Children

Arabird is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this policy and will post the new version here.
